Steve "Too Hip" Giba

Steve TOO HIP Giba"Too Hip," another San Gabriel Valley native, is also known as “The Octopus” according to his band mates. An amazing drummer, "Too Hip" completes the Disco Kings by giving it the tightest and soundest rhythm section around. While "Too Hip" unassumingly hesitates from the title of greatest drummer, he is a King of his craft and a bona fide Disco King. A precision player whose beats pulsate and pound audiences everywhere into a dance frenzy!

Raves Leapin' Leon, "He's got black belt chops. He turns an already jumping situation into musical Jujitsu."

Another ardent 70's music fan and historian, "Too Hip" boasts one the most enormous and eclectic collections of vinyl recordings spanning the glory days of pop rock music and R&B.

Too Hip notes, "Some people go to football games or some sort of revival meeting to get that certain feeling. The rest come to see the Disco Kings."

Fans everywhere are always amazed by this funk brother's cinema of syncopation. Too Hip is genuine. "We are like brothers. We all enjoy playing music together. We've been playing together for years and we're not faking it. We're really having the time of our lives and love what we do."

You're a good man Too Hip!
